My name is Jose Felix Sandoval Sandoval. I was named after my father (Jose) and
my grandfather (Felix).
The Sandoval last name comes from a little town in Spain called Sandoval de la
Reina. Sandoval de la Reina is located in the northern part of the province of
Burgos, Spain, and is host of International Hoe Throwing Contest.
One of the first Sandovals to set foot in America, during the conquest of the
Aztec Empire in what is now known as Mexico, was Gonzalo de Sandoval. Sandoval's
expeditions were lead by Hernan Cortez, in 1519.
